Holiday in Tokyo -Palace Hotel Tokyo- ♪♪

In Japan we stayed at Palace Hotel Tokyo.

This was our 2nd visit.

They had a completely different room assignment strategy from the other hotels. We had a completely different type of room this time. We did not feel that we came back home when we entered the room...

At the other hotels we normally get the same type of the room from the 2nd visit. When we entered our room we feel home straight away!

 The view from our room

Due to the bad weather we stayed at the hotel on the first day. We had afternoon tea in our room!   ↓↓

 Afternoon tea in Japanese style!

We had tempura for dinner at the hotel restaurant.  ↓↓

Very nice tempura! Highly recommended!!!

I also enjoyed my breakfast. I had egg benedict & curry. Strange combination! Ha ha ha!(^^)

We walked around on the next day. Interesting Tokyo scenery!   ↓↓

The past met the future! Something traditional is still standing in the modern city.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Tokyo.

Hope to go back there again soon!

Beach in Izu Japan -Tokiichiyu ryokan- ♪♪

We went to Izu Japan.

The hotel (ryokan) we stayed was Toki-ichiyu. It was in front of the beach!

Hotel lounge area

 Balcony in our room

Nice to have a hot spring (onsen) bath in our room!

The other good point was food.

We had more & more dishes. Sorry, as usual I forgot to take some (many) photos...

Izu is a good destination for beach holiday from Tokyo/Yokohama area.

We really enjoyed both hot spring & fresh sea food dinner!

Richard Gasquet Out of Wimbledon...

Richard Gasquet got injured...

He had to stop playing during the match against Tsonga. (I was supporting him in front of TV.)

Really worried about you, Richard.

You must feel sad... Wish I could hug you...

Hoping you will feel better very soon.

My Wimbledon had finished in a sad way...

It will be a long wait until I can see you again next, Richard...

I was like a stalker today.

Richard Gasquet always walks fast. I tried to catch him up! (^^)

Sorry, Richard. I know you do not feel pleasant if you had a stalker.

I really felt glad when I was walking behind you! Felt close to you!

My feeling was,

Happy, happy & happy!!!

Wimbledon 2016 with Richard Gasquet -R2- ✨ ♪♪

He played his second round yesterday.

I was there!

The opponent was Spanish player Marcel Granollers. He was a typical Spanish player, I mean very good at the baseline. Plus, surprisingly?, he was very good at the net as well. Richard made many good shots but everything came back... He was not the easy opponent for Richard. They had some long rallies like clay court. Richard also suffered from grass court irregulars twice...

Richard had lost the first set, but, after that, he played better and better. He got the 2nd, 3rd & 4th! Yes, he won!!!
\(^o^)/

I really felt 'phew'! Sometimes we cannot see the tightness from the score.

Congratulations, Richard!!!

Always supporting you!!! ♡

Wimbledon 2016 with Richard Gasquet ✨ ♪♪

I joined the queue about 7:30AM yesterday. There were so many people in the queue because of the first day. I could finally get in about 1PM. I was very shocked to learn that Richard Gasquet had already practised 12-1. I missed him...

Today I joined the queue about 6:30AM so I could get in about 11AM. I could see Richard's match from 11:30!!! (I even had to join the queue in front of the court...)
\(^o^)/

It was like Richard's backhand vs Bedene's forehand. I saw 3 cracking Bedene's forehand cross shots. Richard made many good backhand shots! They had some good rallies. Richard was much solid!!!

Plus, it was a completely 'away match' for Richard because Bedene was British.

Anyway he won in 3sets!

Very very pleased!!!

Well played, Richard!!!

Always supporting you!!!

The Boodles Tennis 2016 without Richard Gasquet...

Richard Gasquet is playing at Hurlingham this year.

I have played tennis at Hurlingham before for London club league. It is a very good club in the beautiful setting.

Today I was at Stoke Park to see the Boodles tennis. I only played golf at Stoke Park before. This club is also very beautiful! The club house was in the manor house. Hoping my friend will invite me again to play golf there! (^^)

Today's schedule was -

Order of Play - Day 2Wednesday 24th June 2016:

12.30pm
Robin Haase (NED) v Aljaz Bedene (GBR)

2.30pm
Novak Djokovic (SRB) v David Goffin (BEL)

followed by
Viktor Troicki (SRB) v Lucas Pouille (FRA)

not before 5pm

I took many photos.
