Ten Room in Cafe Royal ♪♪

About 10 years ago we went to Café Royal for the company party. At that time it was not the hotel.


Since then Café Royal was completely renovated as a stylish hotel! This hotel is a member of LHW hotels.


We tried Ten Room restaurant this time.

The food was excellent. The service was almost good and friendly. (They sometimes? forgot about the 'Ladies First'...)


Having said that we really liked the restaurant atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.


This restaurant is situated near Piccadilly Circus. Nice to have lunch or dinner here after shopping or walking around. It will be like your oasis!

Restaurant in Venice -Il Ridotto- ♪♪

We hear that many restaurants in Venice are only geared up for tourists.


We wanted to avoid such restaurants.


Also, Venice is famous for nice seafood so the restaurant we chose was a fish restaurant called Il Ridotto.


We booked a table in advance.

 Both food & service were very good and met our expectations.


In Venice you have to try this restaurant if you like fish!!!

We visited Venice last week.


The hotel we stayed was Luna Hotel Baglioni Venice.

It was very romantic! Perfect place for honeymoon!!!


The view from our room was incredible!


If you are looking for romantic holiday this is the perfect place.

Lunch Alone ♪♪

I had Japanese ramen for lunch.


At Shoryu near Piccadilly Circus station!


Ramen is trendy in Soho.

When you are alone ramen might be the best option for lunch.  (^-^)

Easter Lunch at Great Fosters ♪♪

Last month we went to Great Fosters for Easter lunch.


This place was originally built as a royal hunting lodge.


I felt like being in a history book!

 Can you see the small door in the centre? This is the main door! At that time people were smaller!

Unfortunately the weather was not good... Miserable rainy day...


We both really liked this hotel. Very high standard of the service!


Definitely coming back for meal or afternoon tea! Hoping the weather will be good when we are visiting next time. I would like to explore their garden!

Lunch at Bingham Richmond ♪♪

We had lunch at Bingham Hotel Richmond.


3 course special market lunch at £15!!!

 

 

 

 

We really enjoyed all the dishes!

 

 

We cannot complain at this price anyway! (The food was excellent!!!)

 

 

Wish they had a better sommelier...

 

 



Joel Robuchon ♪♪

We went to Joel Robuchon again.


This was a test to check if we still liked it!  (^v^)

We were a bit disappointed with the bread... It was much better when we visited last time. This time the bread was cold... Fell down from excellent level to standard...

Starters & mains were excellent! Food was very good!!! Pairing wine was also very nice!

Almost no presentation... Big gap of the level between food & dessert...

We had to decide our desserts before starter/main. Plus, waiter brought our desserts without cleaning the crumbs... Not impressive...



After our dessert, we had coffee at the bar upstairs. ↓↓  We could relax there.

Overall, we enjoyed it again! If you are impatient or rushing, this restaurant might be perfect because you can place your dessert order at the beginning!  (^v^)
