Skiing in Austria (Rosshutte & Axamer Lizum) + Cross Country Skiing ♪♪

It was the second time to go to Austria for skiing. The last time we went there was 15 years ago!!!

We skied at Rosshutte & Axamer Lizum where was used for Olympics before.


Skiing is just like bicycle riding. We remember how to do it even after a long break.


My husband was jealous of me because I never fell down. (^o^)v

After 2 days 'ordinary' skiing, we even tried 'cross country skiing'!!!


We had to change all the equipment such as boots, skies and sticks! It was completely different. Good job we did it with an instructor, otherwise we even could not figure out how to attach our boots on skies.


Surprisingly, it became my husband's favourite! He thinks that it is better than running in terms of exercise. I have to agree with him because I got exhausted after this...


We really enjoyed our ski holiday in Austria!

Restaurant in Inter-Alpen Hotel ♪♪

During our holiday we really enjoyed our meals at the hotel.

They also had an impressive cheese buffet. (Sorry, forgot to take a photo...)


On Sunday they served formal dinner so we were asked to wear something elegant. Most of the adult guests were wearing jackets every day anyway. The kids were different. They were wearing shirts for dinner during the week, however, on Sunday they were properly dressed up. Even the small boys were wearing suits with ties!!! (They really looked cute!) Girls were wearing stylish designer dresses! Very impressed! Kids were more stylish than adults. (^v^)


The food was excellent every day. We are definitely going back again for the nice food!

InterAlpen Hotel in Tyrol Austria ♪♪

We went to Austria for skiing. The hotel we stayed was Inter-Alpen Hotel. This is one of the LHW hotels.

The room was very spacious. They had impressive cleaners. Their cleaning was perfect every time.


This hotel offers good daily activities so you will enjoy it even you are not a skier.

We talked with the GM. He was very nice and charismatic! He was also a good dancer! (^v^)

This hotel is perfect for everyone!!!

Bistro51 (TAJ 51 Buckingham Gate) & Chopin ♪♪

We had lunch at Bistro51 before Chopin Society Concert.

All the dishes were so nice. I had Japanese style salad for starter and Indian biryani for main.


My husband had salmon and it was completely European style.


Very interesting menu!


The service is also good. Nice to have warm Indian hospitality in London!


This bistro can satisfy all the India-lovers like me!!!

After our nice lunch we went to Chopin Society concert.

It was excellent. We really enjoyed it!


Nice & peaceful Sunday for us! (Secret that nice lunch almost made us start nodding off...) (^-^)

Let's Explore A New Restaurant 'alone' (^v^)

My husband is having business dinner tonight.


I had an opportunity to look for a new restaurant 'alone'.


Asked myself. 'What shall I eat tonight?'


The answer is Lebanese! ↓↓

I had Sabzi today. I was craving for Sabzi! (It sometimes happens.)


I really enjoyed it 'alone'!


Lebanese is recommended for your 'alone' debut!!!




PS: By the way, a waiter said this is not Lebanese, this is Iranian.(Persian) Iranian is different from Lebanese!!!

We went to a country pub called Red Lion in Nottingham.


Do you know Sherwood Forest? Nottingham is famous for Robin Hood!

I had cottage pie and my husband had steak & kidney pie. (Forgot to take photos...)


It was nice cottage pie with plenty of cheese!
