Private Viewing of Christian Dior Exhibition at Harrods ♪♪

I was invited to a private viewing of Christian Dior Exhibition at Harrods.

Nice to have a viewing with a glass of champagne!

Very interesting exhibition. I learnt that each detail of the design had a meaning.


It was a nice opportunity to see Dior aesthetics!!!

Deauville Town & Le Ciro's ♪♪

Deauville is a very cute town. There are many Tudor-like buildings.

We had our dinner at Le Ciro's. This is a famous seafood restaurant.


We ordered Assorted Seafood Platter.

Heaven for seafood lovers! We really enjoyed having seafood but took almost all the night!!!

Royal Barriere Deauville ♪♪

We stayed at Royal Barriere Deauville. It is situated in front of the beach.

Nice presents from the hotel

Nice champagne & my favourite macaroons made me happy! Banana cake was also very tasty!


We could view the sea from our room.

 

Look at this! A small bottle of my favourite perfume was there!

HERMES 'UN JARDIN SUR LE NIL' ♪♪

 

 

 

The service during the breakfast was perfect!!! (Reminded me the service at Four Seasons.) Very warm hospitality. I even want to go back there only for breakfast!!!

 

 

This hotel became one of our favourites! We definitely visit there again in the near future!!!

Trip to France ♪♪

We visited France during Easter holiday.


We visited

1. Deauville
2. Mont-St-Michel
3. Dinard
4. Rouen

We visited France many times before but this was the first time to go to there by car.


It only took 35minutes from Folkeston (England) to Calais (France).


We drove into the train and crossed the channel. Very interesting experience!

Burlington Arcade & St James Club

I like Burlington Arcade. There are many interesting small shops there.

Don't forget to get some macaroons at Laduree!!!

Today, instead of macaroons, I had some small cakes at St James Club.

Sorry, I forgot to take a photo at first. I have already finished eating most of the cakes when I remembered!!!


I had a pot of silver needle white tea. Some time ago they had rare 'yellow' tea but not any more...

This hotel/club is good when you want a drink in a calm environment. (I mean when you cannot relax at Starbucks!) This place is an oasis in the central London.



It has been very cold in London. Hot tea & warm hospitality made me feel better!!!

My New Shiny Baby

I was walking on the street.


It was 'not' my intention at all. I was not looking for anything shiny!


On such a day I met my destiny. I felt that it was so cute!

I might have a distinctive taste but I fell in love with this baby!


My new shiny baby makes me happy!!!

Confused Birds

Today it was snowing in London. I feel that Winter came back after Spring because it was very mild last week!


I was reading the article:

'The cold snap is an unwelcome surprise for birds coming back to the UK expecting mild weather after time spent in the warmth of Africa.'


I am afraid that the birds are confused!!!
