Savoy Palace in Madeira ♪♪

We went to Madeira. The hotel we stayed was Savoy Palace.


Savoy Palace is a new hotel situated in Funchal Madeira and one of the LHW hotels.

Fruits, sweets & Madeira wine! So lovely!!!

 It was the first time to see Chopard Amenities!

We loved this hotel! Not only the latest immaculate room but also the kind attentive services from every member of staff.


Madeira became our favourite destination. Not only nice climate throughout the year but also very kind people in relaxing way. No wonder why there are many Madeira junkies!!! The number of Madeira junkies might be more than Aman junkies?!





Our highlight in Madeira was dolphin watching.

So many dolphins around us and jumping so close! Two dolphins, three dolphins jumping together at the same time! If I see jumping dolphins on the left side, I miss dolphins on the right side, such an amazing moment! It was very difficult to take photos.




We will definitely go back to our new favourite Madeira. Very much looking forward to staying at Savoy Palace again!

Asia Garden Hotel in Alicante Spain ♪♪

We stayed at Asia Garden Hotel in Alicante Spain.


This hotel was in Spain, however, during our stay we forgot where we were! It's just like a hotel in Thailand or Bali!


The hotel garden is huge. In the hotel there are 7 pools and plenty of sun beds. Plus very nice oriental gardens around the pools. There are many oriental ponds with beautiful koi fish.

Our room was nice & comfortable.

The room reminded me The Chedi Chiang Mai. Very oriental.



The restaurants were also very good. We tried both Italian and Oriental restaurants.

If you want to feel Asia in Europe this is the place to go. Only 2 hours flight from London to Alicante. About 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel. Airport transfer was arranged by the hotel.


We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Highly recommended!

Christmas & New Year's Eve in Japan ♪♪

I cannot believe that it is already in February.


We went to Japan in December. I was too lazy to write about it soon...


Our first hotel was Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. It is situated in the Landmark Tower. Our room was on the 65th floor!!! We could see Mt Fuji from the window! We booked a room on the club floor and really appreciated their service.

Then we headed to Niigata. We had to give up skiing because it was too early to have enough snow... We just enjoyed nice onsen & delicious meals at the hotel called 'Atema Plateau Resort Belnatio'. Plus we attended GM's party. It was excellent! As a surprise, they served sushi in the middle of French course! Each dish was paired with nice champagne & rare wine!!! At the last of the party we sang with an opera singer. So much fun!

Then we came back to Tokyo.


Our first hotel in Tokyo was Hotel Okura. When we went to the bar for the nightcap, the hotel staff took us to the interesting room. It was almost hidden. We crossed over the staff passage! There were only 5 tables there and all the other people had reserved bottles. It seemed like a room for regulars. Very interesting conversations from the people around!

Our last hotel in Japan was Palace Hotel Tokyo. We quite like this hotel. This was the 3rd stay for us. The hotel staff who took us to our room even put our coats on hangers. Felt good omotenashi! We found a beautiful gift in our room. We also had nice lunch at their French restaurant called Crown.

We really enjoyed our stay in Japan! Hope to visit there again near the future!

By the way we tried JAL business class from London to Tokyo. It was surprisingly very good! I have to say it was better than BA business class.
