Ladies Lunch at Alain Ducasse ♪♪

I went to Alain Ducasse for ladies lunch.


This is one of my favourite restaurants in London.

 

 

 

Food was very nice. I had frogs leg for starter! In the menu I saw mackerel tartar. 'Tartar' became trendy dish??

 

 

It seems they renewed their menu. I got the impression that they are trying to improve the level even higher. (We feel that their bread could be improved.)

 

 

My favourite part of lunch at this restaurant is the herb trolley. They make our personalized infusion tea.

 

 

We really enjoyed our ladies lunch!

 

 

 

Spanish Tapas Lunch at Ametsa Halkin ♪♪

We had a very nice Tapas lunch at Ametsa in Halkin Hotel.


It was the second visit for me and the first visit for my husband.

Every dish was perfect! Everything was top quality. (the bread is the only item they can improve?)


If you like to have sophisticated tapas, this restaurant is the perfect place.


We really liked this restaurant. My husband even wants to go back there on his birthday!

Make Over at Christian Dior (Harrods) ♪♪

I was invited to the special make-over event by professional make-up artists.

Nice to know how to make up properly while sipping nice champagne! (^v^)


The make up artist was very good and skilled! I learnt a lot today. I was a very keen student!!!

French Crepes & Chinese Hand Made Noodles ♪♪

Some time ago we went to a small French crepe restaurant in Hammersmith.

It is located near Hammersmith station. As a restaurant, no frills, no special elements...

Today, I had my lunch in China Town Soho.


Hand made noodles in wonton soup.

It was very nice, however it was not easy to eat because each noodle was very very long! (I mean it!)


Next time I will ask them to make the noodles shorter!

Lunch at Hedone ♪♪

We had lunch at Hedone today.


This restaurant is in Chiswick and it looks very discreet.


They have an open kitchen and it is nice to watch them work.

 

We enjoyed everything including the bread! Even amuse bouche was very impressive! I found a kind of Japanese influence on some dishes. Pastry chef was also good!


My 'rose' desert reminded me of  Marrakech... It was a very romantic girly desert. I loved it! (Presentation-wise, might look better if they put a small mint leaf on top?? They avoided conflict between smells and tastes??)


We are definitely going back there!

Skiing in Austria (Rosshutte & Axamer Lizum) + Cross Country Skiing ♪♪

It was the second time to go to Austria for skiing. The last time we went there was 15 years ago!!!

We skied at Rosshutte & Axamer Lizum where was used for Olympics before.


Skiing is just like bicycle riding. We remember how to do it even after a long break.


My husband was jealous of me because I never fell down. (^o^)v

After 2 days 'ordinary' skiing, we even tried 'cross country skiing'!!!


We had to change all the equipment such as boots, skies and sticks! It was completely different. Good job we did it with an instructor, otherwise we even could not figure out how to attach our boots on skies.


Surprisingly, it became my husband's favourite! He thinks that it is better than running in terms of exercise. I have to agree with him because I got exhausted after this...


We really enjoyed our ski holiday in Austria!

Restaurant in Inter-Alpen Hotel ♪♪

During our holiday we really enjoyed our meals at the hotel.

They also had an impressive cheese buffet. (Sorry, forgot to take a photo...)


On Sunday they served formal dinner so we were asked to wear something elegant. Most of the adult guests were wearing jackets every day anyway. The kids were different. They were wearing shirts for dinner during the week, however, on Sunday they were properly dressed up. Even the small boys were wearing suits with ties!!! (They really looked cute!) Girls were wearing stylish designer dresses! Very impressed! Kids were more stylish than adults. (^v^)


The food was excellent every day. We are definitely going back again for the nice food!

InterAlpen Hotel in Tyrol Austria ♪♪

We went to Austria for skiing. The hotel we stayed was Inter-Alpen Hotel. This is one of the LHW hotels.

The room was very spacious. They had impressive cleaners. Their cleaning was perfect every time.


This hotel offers good daily activities so you will enjoy it even you are not a skier.
