Esplanade Zagreb Hotel ♪♪

We stayed at Esplanade Zagreb hotel in Croatia.

This hotel was built in 1925 for passengers of the Orient Express. (The Orient Express hasn't stopped in Zagreb since 1939 though)

We had 2 balconies in our room!

The best point of this hotel was the restaurants. There are 2 restaurants, one is Zinfandel's and the other one is Le Bistro. Both restaurants were very good. We had our dinner at the hotel every day!

We cannot have beef tartar easily in London. We do not see beef tartar on the menu's of most of the restaurants. (I do not know why!)


This hotel is a good base to explore both Zagreb town & plitvice. Recommended!

Place Like Heaven ♪♪ -Plitvice Lakes-

We went to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia.


It was my dream to visit there.


It took 2.5hrs from the capital Zagreb.


It was so beautiful!!!   　　↓↓



 

Beautiful colour of water and it was totally transparent!


It is a huge place so you 'at least' need 3-4hrs to look around.


If you have not been there yet you might be missing out on something incredible!!!

Lunch at Apsleys Lanesborough

I had lunch with my friend at Apsleys.

As usual I forgot to take some photos.


Unfortunately I did not feel the same excellent service as before... Having said that we really enjoyed our nice girls chat! (Machine-gun talk for 3hs!!!)

Sunday Roast at Babylon Roof Gardens

We had Sunday Roast at Babylon today.

This restaurant is on the 7th floor so we can enjoy nice view. ↑↑


Because of the garden we do not feel so high.


Unfortunately the garden on the 6th floor was closed today... Hoping we will be able to see the garden next time.


We enjoyed our lazy Sunday afternoon!

Richard Gasquet in US Open / Scary Olympics in Tokyo??

Richard Gasquet reached the last (best) 4 in US Open!!!  v(^o^)v

The Best Duck in London & My Donald ♪♪

We had nice Duck at Min Jiang Restaurant.


I think their duck is the best in London.

 

 

We also had the other dishes but forgot to take some photos...

 

The good point of this restaurant is the nice view, as well as great food & service!!!

 

 

 

The word duck reminded me my favourite Donald. I love Donald Duck in Disneyland.

 

 

When I found Donald Duck in Disneyland I was faster than Usain Bolt. I clung to his arm to take a photo! The problem was that I had to wait for my 'slow' cameraman.(←my husband)
